We are pleased to announce the creation of the Proquartetto Archives at the Library of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
Over the years, Proquartetto has amassed a unique heritage treasure in Belgium, including audio, photo, and video archives from the Les Voix Intimes festival, manuscripts of works commissioned from composers, press clippings (reviews and reports of our concerts), publications by the association, and a comprehensive library of scores, writings, and recordings (CDs, DVDs) for string quartet.
Established as a dedicated collection and intended to grow over time, the Proquartetto Collection will help preserve the integrity and historical record of these archives, while making them accessible through the Conservatory’s research tools.
This initiative is part of our commitment to sharing knowledge with researchers, musicians, and anyone interested in the history and development of chamber music in Belgium. It marks an important milestone in promoting the work of our nonprofit organization and opens up new opportunities for its outreach and influence.
The list of Les Voix Intimes concerts and Proquartetto non-profit organization activities is available upon request (info@proquartetto.be).
